Free Princess: A Reptilian Love Story

Free Princess: A Reptilian Love Story

Today’s episode of Unplug TV unplugs from status-quo culture with a simple act of kindness for a fellow Earth inhabitant. Today, we free Princess!

Join me on this journey of compassion.

The former British Prime Minister and novelist Benjamin Disraeli is quoted as once saying:

“The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches, but to reveal to him his own”.

Now, I know that there are millions of acts of kindness happening every single day that we rarely hear about. Modern culture instead prefers to desensitize us with the ongoing oppressive consumerism and violence in the world in order to perpetuate the illusion of helplessness. But that isn’t who we are at our core. We are not innately indifferent and helpless. We are kind and compassionate beings who simply need to remember the ongoing small acts of kindness that we ourselves commit on a daily basis.

Smiling at a stranger who looks like they’re in need, helping a homeless person with some spare change, choosing the veggie wrap over the chicken sandwich, flipping over a beetle struggling to get back on her feet. It all matters and it all makes a difference. Lives are saved. Lives are changed.

Now, as always, it’s your turn. I’d love for you to share some simple acts of kindness in your own life – either given to others or received by you.

When you share your heart-centered kindness, it gives others permission to do the same and this is how we shift the paradigm. So don’t be shy – let it rip!

Thank you so much for reading, watching and contributing.

Lots of love!

Deb

  1. Beautiful video…laughed, cried, cheered! I witnessed the most amazing simple act of kindness this week. My brother and I are in London right now visiting my dying father. Despite the stress, lack of sleep and saddness of the week I witnessed my brother doing something so simple and beautifully kind. He was pulling into a metered parking spot on the street when he realized that there was a car ahead of him that may have been waiting for the same spot. Instead of just pulling into the spot which he could have he stopped, rolled down his window and said “Hey brother, are you looking to get into this spot”…turns out the other car was not and we could part there the fact that he took the time to ask and give the other guy a chance to take the spot was so amazing. It’s the little things.

    1. Indeed…it always is the little things that make the biggest difference. Every “little” act shifts the paradigm. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m smiling! 🙂

  2. What an absolutely touching film. Dani shared it with me… it brings me a great sense of joy, relief and happiness to know that beautiful souls, such as yourself, inhabit this earth. I cannot believe that we have not met yet!
    Warmly,
    Hava

    1. Hava – There are so many beautiful souls on this planet that we don’t know about – but we’re all energetically connected despite the fact that we may or may not know one another. My heart is calling for all of us to emerge, connect and join this growing community so that we know that we’re not alone. Light always prevails over darkness so keep on sharing and shining! xoxo

  3. Wow Deb, what a great deed! I was cheering for Princess as she touched the water! You are an inspiration … that one small act from you made all the difference in that turtle’s life! Keep it up!
